Shenandoah is a cities in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,134 at the 2010 census. It is the hometown of David Vetter, the famous "boy in the plastic bubble". In 1986 the Shenandoah cities council renamed Tamina School Road to David Memorial Drive in honor of Vetter.

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 2,134 people, 971 households, and 640 families residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 89.1% White, 3.6% African American, 0.3% Native American, 3.1% Asian, 1.7% from other races, and 2.1% from two or more races.
